The operations of the regional business development company LADEC and the tourism company Lahden Seutu - Lahti Region has been merged into a single organisation. The arrangement was completed on 30 June 2026 through a business acquisition in which the operations of Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd were transferred to Lahden Seutu – Lahti Region Oy.
The entire company now operates under the name Business Lahti!
Business Lahti brings together the familiar business start-up advisory services, business advisory and growth services, location and Invest In services formerly provided by LADEC, as well as broader regional vitality and economic development work carried out in close collaboration with businesses, partners, and our owner municipalities. Tourism services will continue to be provided and marketed under the Visit Lahti brand.
